Team: Education and Events

September 23, 08:15 - September 24, 16:15, 2021

Description

On behalf of NPAO and the 2021 Conference Planning Committee, we look forward to welcoming you NPAO’s Annual Conference taking place on September 23 – September 24, 2021.

With the success of last year’s conference and the future of face-to-face meetings still unknown, NPAO has decided to host this year’s conference in a virtual format.

This years’ Conference theme is Nurse Practitioner: Innovative Influencers of Health and Wellness.   This professional conference for NPs offers a blend of clinical and professional content.  This is the only professional conference that brings NPs together to have meaningful dialogue about issues of critical importance to NP practice across a wide range of specialties and practice settings.

At the 2021 Annual Conference you will:

  • Network and engage with the your NP colleagues in an energized exchange of ideas
  • Share practical strategies and comprehensive, results-oriented patient care strategies.
  • Explore a virtual exhibit hall filled with the latest goods and services for NPs and students

We will be offering more concurrent session topics and plenary sessions than in previous years.  This year’s conference promises not to disappoint.  On Thursday September 23 Chantal Leonard, CEO, CNPS will be providing liability updates and Pfizer will be sponsoring a session and providing an update on the COVID-19 vaccine.  This year we’re offering some new and exciting topics such as:

  • Red flags in neurology
  • NPs in Independent Practice
  • Resiliency through optimal stress
  • NPs as MRPs
  • Nursing and Artificial Intelligence
  • Indigenous Health Care
