Webinar 1: Introduction to opioid use in Canada, which includes the impact of COVID-19 on opioid use and opioid use disorder, and a look at how implicit bias and stigma affect services and care.
This webinar is part one of a series of webinars on a collaborative project on opioid use and opioid use disorder, undertaken by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, the Association of faculties of pharmacy in Canada, and the Canadian Association for Social Work Education with funding support from Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program.
The purpose of this webinar is to give an overview of a new e-resource developed as part of the project, and to hear from guest speakers on important topic areas covered within the e-resource.
