This program will provide attendees with an overview of Medical Cannabis. Following this program, participants will understand:

  • The Neurobiology of the Cannabis System
    • How the Cannabinoids work
    • Cannabinoid Receptors
    • Relation of Cannabinoids to Stress in the Immune System
    • The role of the endocannabinoid system 
  • Medical Cannabis as adjunct therapy for treatment of stress, trauma, and anxiety
  • Review the challenges of treating INSOMNIA, ANXIETY, in COMBINATION with Medical Cannabis
  • Review the challenges of treating Veterans and First Responders with Medical Cannabis
