2022 NPAM Conference
The 2022 NPAM Conference was held in-person, at the Viscount Gort Hotel in Winnipeg on Friday, November 18, 2023.
Come celebrate Nurse Practitioner Day with us!
On November 18th, 2013 former Health Minister Erin Selby proclaimed Nurse Practitioner Day in Manitoba. At the time, Manitoba had close to 120 Nurse Practitioners working in various areas of health care across the province. Now Manitoba has 306+ licensed Nurse Practitioners!
The Nurse Practitioner Association of Manitoba would like to wish you a Happy Nurse Practitioner Day! You deserve a huge pat on the back for showing up every day to give of yourself in caring for others, and for continuing to provide high quality patient care. The specialized skills and knowledge you provide improves health outcomes for our communities.
NPAM recognizes your significant contributions to our healthcare system and thanks you. May you be proud of the work you do and the difference you make! Take some time today to celebrate yourself and all you do.
We are also including some resources we’ve created to further educate on nurse practitioners and the NP role. Feel free to share these!
And don’t forget to renew your NPAM membership! Nurse Practitioners cannot continue to expand our education to the public, stakeholders, and collaborative healthcare partners without the support of membership.
